Taking part in Strictly Air Ambulance for Essex & Herts Air Ambulance was a brilliant experience from start to finish. Joga and I began training just before Christmas and it felt like we had ages to prepare, but the event came around really quickly—and suddenly, it was showtime. The weeks leading up were full of hard work, a fair bit of laughter, and a lot of stepping outside our comfort zones. We may not have taken home the glitterball trophy, but that really wasn’t the point. The experience itself, the people we met, and the chance to support such an important cause made it all worthwhile. Massive thanks to everyone who supported us along the way, and to Essex & Herts Air Ambulance for putting together such a great event. And of course, thank you to Joga for being such a fab dance partner!

We are honoured to have been asked to take part in this years' event to help raise funds for the incredible charity Essex & Herts Air Ambulance! For those of you, not familiar with the event...... 8 contestants along with their professional partners compete by each dancing a Latin and a Ballroom routine to win the Strictly Air Ambulance Glitter Ball Trophy. I have been paired with the wonderful Joga and will spend the next couple of months teaching him a Quickstep and a Pasa Double routine in the hope of winning that trophy. Having already completed our first training session I can honestly say that it's going to be a lot of fun and plenty of laughs!
